Couple seeks room starting Sept.1

American/English couple looking for room in shared apartment starting Sept 1st. We're looking to pay around 500 euros with costs included but could consider a bit more. We're 23 and 24, an English teacher and a writer, and are planning to stay in Madrid indefinitely (so not interested in only temporary housing). I speak Spanish and he is learning currently. I know some people are hesitant to live with a couple, but we are very respectful, polite and friendly...and drama-free: no fighting or craziness:)

We're laid-back, enjoy politics, activism, cooking, art, films, and are looking to live collectively with people as opposed to just sharing a flat. We don't need a huge room, although it's preferable it already be furnished with a double bed. Ideal neighborhoods include La Latina, Malasaña, Retiro- but again, not required.
