SUMMER CAMP IN ÁVILA

Midleton School is offering you a fantastic opportunity to experience life in the Spanish countryside.

We are currently looking for native teachers to work on our annual kids’ summer camp (6-12 years old) in the province of Ávila.

THE JOB
The contract is from Saturday, 27th June to Sunday, 26th July inclusive. Teachers will be responsible for teaching class in the morning, Mon-Fri. However, outside of class you will continue to be central to the camp, whether it be chatting with the students at mealtimes or participating in activities with them. 
Materials will be provided as well as travel between Madrid and the camp, and full board and accommodation.

THE CANDIDATE
We are looking for energetic dynamic individuals who are looking to spend their summer in a fun-filled and exciting camp environment. 
CELTA qualifications, or equivalent, would be an advantage and experience working with children is essential. Spanish working papers and social security in Spain are required.

THE CAMP
The camp takes place on an eco-friendly farm school, located in the foothills of the Sierra de Gredos, Ávila (2 hours from Madrid). Our aim is to create a friendly and nurturing environment for campers to learn not only English, but also about the natural environment that surrounds them.
Students will attend 3 hours of lessons each morning (Monday-Friday) while their afternoons and evenings will be filled with an array of activities (e.g. archery, orienteering, pottery). Campers will also help out on the farm (feeding the animals, planting crops etc). There will be three weekly excursions which include a trip to the local swimming pool, the mountains and also a sightseeing tour of Ávila city.
