OCT/NOV COUNSELORS

Centro Educativo Internacional El Jarama S.L. (C.E.I. El Jarama) is an educational company authorised by the Regional Government of Madrid since 1992. It develops its main activity in its centre in Talamanca de Jarama, Madrid.
In Fall 2014, we will have the wonderful privilege to work for a governmental project (October and November): 18 schools from all over Spain will be invited on our premises to experience an English Immersion week. 2 different schools every week, for 7 weeks.
Therefore, we are looking for highly motivated staff :
WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PERSON WITH

•	Strong English speaking skills. Native or min. C1 (All interviews and training sessions will be conducted in English.) 
•	basic understanding of Spanish (A2 is recommended)
•	team working oriented 
•	services oriented 
•	high levels of resistance to tiredness
•	Energy, initiative and a positive attitude 
•	previous teaching experience
•	experience working with children and teenagers (desirable but not necessary)
•	experience in camps (desirable but not necessary)
•	experience with outdoors activities (desirable but not necessary)


MAJOR DUTIES,
As a group leader, you will be responsible for
•	Being an active part of all camps activities i.e. songs, workshops, free time activities, night games…
•	Delivering the program to groups of 10-15 campers 
•	Attend training session.
•	Speaking English at all times to facilitate campers’ learning experience and allow language immersion;
•	Actively engaging in the running of the camps and supervising campers during wake up, mealtimes, breaks and night guards;
•	Supervising campers on excursions and day trips;
•	Displaying an appropriate behaviour at all times as role model
