Hello everyone!

My name is Lory and I am a native English speaker/teacher from the United States. I am offering private classes to share my language with people who want to practice speaking English in Madrid.

I am from Minnesota. Why is that important? It means I have a neutral American accent, and foreigners have an easier time understanding me compared to some other English speakers who have strong regional accents.

Here are a few examples of things we can do in our classes:
• Talk about your life, work, family, and interests to practice using the past, present, and future tenses
• Tell stories and play games
• Read newspaper articles together to practice pronunciation and learn new vocabulary
• Make and present presentations about various topics
• Listen to music to learn the lyrics and new vocabulary
• Watch and discuss video clips

We can also:
• Prepare for a job interview
• Prepare for an exam
• Prepare for a vacation
• Write a CV/Resume and letter of motivation

My experience includes teaching at the following places:
• Colegio Público Bilingüe de la Comunidad de Madrid (Current)
• Vaughan Systems and Diverbo/Pueblo Inglés
• Private lessons in Madrid and France (Adults and children)
• Public high school in Lyon, France 

Price of private, one-to-one classes:
(My travel costs, lesson preparation time, materials, and resources are included in my fee.)
• 25€/hour at your house

Discounts:
• 1.5-hour one-to-one class at your house: 35€
• 2-hour one-to-one class at your house: 45€
• If you are interested in having classes with your friends or family members, I am willing to discuss this option with you!

I prefer to work with clients who live in Goya/Salamanca, but if you are interested in classes with me and live further away, we can try to find a solution together!
