Classroom Assistant needed

Role Overview

We are seeking a caring, energetic, and proactive Classroom Assistant to support our Pre Nursery class (ages 2–3) and lead Music and Movement sessions in Reception. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for early childhood education, enjoy working with very young children, and bring creativity and enthusiasm to daily routines, play-based learning, and expressive arts. Person Specification
Essential

Experience working with young children in a nursery, preschool, or Early Years environment.

Warm, patient, and positive approach to supporting children’s emotional and social development.

Ability to follow routines while using initiative during transitions and play.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Creativity, enthusiasm, and confidence leading group activities.

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Desirable

Training or experience in Early Years education (e.g. Early Childhood qualification).

Musical ability, singing skills, or experience in movement/dance.

Basic understanding of child development and EYFS principles.

Experience in an international or bilingual school setting.
