ESL Teachers in Andorra la Vella
Singular Acadèmia d'Anglès is looking for 2 English teachers to join us for the 2025-26 school year:
- 1 teacher with experience with VYLs (2-5yo), Cambridge exams preparation, and teaching adults.

- 1 teacher with experience in preparing teenagers and adults for the main suite Cambridge exams.

The immigration requirements and key qualifications are:

Work visas can be processed for both EU and non-EU citizens. Approval is subject to the Immigration Services' discretion and work is only permitted once the visa is granted, which typically takes between 10 to 15 days to process. The documents to be submitted are:

- A 4-year bachelor's degree and university transcript with credits.
- A clean background/police check from all your country/countries of origin (if you hold more than one passport), and current country of residence (if different).
All legalised with the Hague apostille (or equivalent), and dated no more than three months prior to your arrival in Andorra.

Singular will reimburse part of the paperwork costs and cover 100% of the Andorran work visa fee.

Catalan Language Requirement: As of November 2024, the Andorran government requires all new visa holders to obtain an A1-level certificate in Catalan for the first renewal, and an A2-level for the second renewal. Free Catalan classes are available to all residents.

Qualifications and Experience:
English Proficiency: Native-level English speaker or C2.2 bilingual proficiency, with a neutral accent.

Willingness to Relocate: The position is based in Andorra la Vella. We assist teachers with relocation and housing.

TEFL Certification: Preferably, a Level 5 TEFL qualification (e.g., Cambridge CELTA, Trinity CertTESOL).

Teaching Experience:

Our students range from 3-year-olds to senior citizens. We offer Cambridge English exams preparation, general and business English, and we provide materials and training.
Experience with IELTS and TOEFL is also valued.

Teaching Skills:
Strong knowledge of English grammar  (this will be addressed during the preliminary interview).
Well-organized, flexible, team-oriented, dynamic, and engaging.
Committed to fostering a student-friendly and teacher-supportive environment.
Availability: The teacher should be available to relocate to Andorra by mid-August 2025 and be committed to teaching until the end of June 2026. The contract can be extended over the summer months, and potentially for the following academic year.
