Summer Camp Residential Director - 2025
King’s College, world-renowned for academic excellence and student leadership, is seeking to appoint a dynamic, inspiring and ambitious professional to the position of Summer Camp Residential Director to join our teaching team on a temporary basis.

Key responsibilities and Accountabilities:

General duties:

•	Respect the guidelines set down by King’s College S.L. (Staff Handbook).
•	Be prepared to follow a flexible working timetable.
•	Attend the Director's Meetings in Madrid.
•	Be part of the staff selection process, conduct interviews.
•	Create and organise the course timetables along with the coordinators (Games and Sports, Workshops, Excursions, Staff duties, Days off etc.) for the Residential Course to be shared with the Deputy and Operations Director before the Training Day.
•	Check the lists of materials/resources needed for the Courses before the start of the course and inform of any missing items.
•	Be responsible for the care and maintenance of materials, cellphones, chargers, and school premises during camp.
•	Once the course is underway, any requests for additional materials/replenishments must be sent to KC S.L. Operations Director in writing.
•	Create all the necessary lists for the students attending the Courses ensuring that groups are evenly balanced by age, sex, etc., and include any other relevant information; dorms, buses/transport, optional lessons, medication along with special diets and allergies (which are to be given to the person in charge of the kitchen at the school).
•	Allocate students in the Residence Tenbury House.
•	Prepare and organise the running schedule for the Course Training Day.
•	Prepare and organise the running order for the first day, together with the staff duties for the First Day Registration, grouping of students and the registering of students.
•	Supervise timetables for breaks and lunches and provide them with the number of staff and students that will be using the dining facilities during the Course each day.

General course duties :

•	This is a 24/7 position requiring morning availability and daily team meetings.
•	Maintain an awareness of fire, health and safety and safeguarding regulations (Staff Handbook).
•	Work as part of a team.
•	Be responsible for the well-being of the children and staff in the course.
•	Be prepared when necessary to take a child from the course to the nearest Health Centre or hospital.
