Summer Camp Residential Director - 2024
King’s College, world-renowned for academic excellence and student leadership, is seeking to appoint a dynamic, inspiring and ambitious professional to the position of Summer Camp Residential Director to join our teaching team on a temporary basis.

Key responsibilities and Accountabilities:

General duties:

•	Respect the guidelines set down by King’s College S.L. (Staff Handbook).
•	Be prepared to follow a flexible working timetable.
•	Attend the Director's Meetings in Madrid.
•	Create and organise the course timetables along with the coordinators (Class times, Games and Sports, Workshops, Excursions, Staff duties, Days off etc.) for the Residential 
        Course to be shared with the Deputy and Operations Director before the Training Day.
•	Check the lists of materials/resources needed for the Courses before the start of the course and inform of any missing items.
•	Once the course is underway, any requests for additional materials/replenishments must be sent to KC S.L. Operations Director in writing.

General course duties:

•	Maintain an awareness of fire, health and safety and safeguarding regulations (Staff Handbook).
•	Work as part of a team.
•	Be responsible for the well-being of the children and staff in the course.
•	Be prepared when necessary to take a child from the course to the nearest Health Centre or hospital.
•	Complete a Daily Incident and Parents Complaint Sheet to be given to the Director-Department of Language Courses upon request.
•	Ensure that all staff follows the timetable, maintaining punctuality.
•	Maintain parent/teacher contact (on site or via telephone).

EFL Class duties:

•	Student grouping with teachers at the start of course.
•	Monitor activities or classes, making changes where necessary, trying to balance the groups for age, level and sex, etc., as much as possible.
•	Offer help and advice to teachers on both an academic and personal level, assisting with the preparation of classes and activities: providing photocopies, ideas or other academic 
        materials as and when they are needed.
•	Supervise and monitor the planning and preparation of English and Project Classes with teachers according to the established Summer Schools.
