King’s College School welcomes applications from Art teachers who are available to join our school for the beginning of the 2022 - 2023 academic year.

72% of entries in our first IGCSE cohort secured 7 or above in 2020 and this improved to 74% in our second year. We were awarded World Class School status in Spring 2020 and the Wellbeing in Schools Award in 2019. We have secured 3 consecutive ‘Outstanding’ ratings in BSO inspections, the last in November 2019.

Art and Design plays an important part in our school community and creative curriculum across all phases of the school. Pupils at King's College School have celebrated excellent success in global projects such as the National Gallery Take One Picture project as well as COBIS Art Competitions. 

We foster a love of the arts and promote pupils' independence in exploring their creative strengths. At Key Stage 3 pupils explore a range of artists, techniques and processes that help to prepare pupils for the Pearson GCSE Art Craft and Design Course that they complete during year 10 and 11.
