Secondary Native English Assistant

TEFL Teachers Madrid is assisting a concertado school with the selection of an experienced language assistant to cover an employee´s leave.

Location: School in Carabanchel neighborhood
Start date: Friday, November 5th or Monday, November 8th
End date: Wednesday, December 22nd   
Schedule: 
•	Mondays = classes between 8:30 AM and 3 PM
•	Thursdays = classes between 8:30 AM and 3 PM
•	Fridays = classes between 8:30 AM and 3 PM
Number of teaching hours per week: 14 
Pay for November: 700€ 
Pay for December: 500€ 

Role: The native English assistant will usually be working with half of the class at a time in a separate room while the main teacher remains in the classroom with the rest of the students. The assistant will reinforce speaking skills with games, activities, and presentations prepared under the guidance of the main teacher.

Requirements:
- Prior experience teaching English to teens (ESO and above) for whom it is not their native language in a group setting.
- Experience as a secondary language assistant in Spain (preferred)
- Paperwork in order: NIE, Social Security number and Certificado de Delitos de Naturaleza Sexual
