FULL TIME ENGLISH TEACHER

Midleton School is currently recruiting English language teachers for the 2018/19 academic year.

Midleton School is one of the largest English academies in the south of Madrid. Our two centres, located in El Casar (Getafe), are easily reached by a short 17-minute train ride from Atocha Renfe.

Our teachers and academic support team are dedicated to providing a friendly and safe study environment that ensures that all our students – regardless of age, level, or reason for studying English – achieve their personal learning aims.

We offer:
o	Block hours in the evening (16:30 – 21:30), from Monday to Friday
o	Continuous professional development
o	Modern classroom facilities with smartboards and tablets, and small groups of learners with a maximum of six students per class
o	Competitive salary package and teaching contract from September to mid-June, with the option to extend until July 2019

Job requirements:
o	Teaching qualification (CELTA, CertTESOL, equivalent or higher)
o	Valid work permit for Spain
o	Experience in teaching a variety of age groups and course types (General English, Test Preparation Courses, etc) is preferred
o	Native speaker or non-native speaker with certified native level of English (e.g. Cambridge English: Proficiency)

Teacher duties:
o	To plan and deliver student-focused lessons to students of various age groups and proficiency levels, with clear and achievable learning aims
o	To collect and report on accurate records on student learning progress
o	To assess students and complete student reports in accordance with school curriculum and course syllabus
o	To deliver placement tests
o	To attend and actively participate in teacher meetings and teacher training
