English Classes Madrid - Friendly British (Native) Teacher

Hello,

I’m a qualified, friendly, British-native English teacher offering one-to-one or small group lessons to people in Madrid (around Malasaña/Chueca/SOL/Latina/Centro). 

All levels of classes are available from basic to advanced. In lesson one, we’ll assess your level and by lesson two we will have created a rough plan for your learning based on your time-frame and goals (anything from being able to ask for directions to being able to deliver executive-level board presentations to passing a specific exam).

I enjoy teaching English and I take the progress of my students seriously. At the same time, I’m socially relaxed and I like to make the lessons a bit more interesting than just the standard text book format. I usually tailor the content of the lessons to each student/group of students to make them more relevant and useful.

Qualifications/Experience
•Qualified to teach with TEFL
•Native British English speaker
•I studied at British University and attained first class (top level) degree. I’m pretty well informed in general so I can cover quite a large range of areas from politics to economics to business, literature and local culture.
•I learned Spanish as an adult so I know how it feels to learn a new language! I look at the lessons from a student perspective as well as that of a teacher.
•I have spent the last 6 years (since finishing university) working in business in London and I have experience leading and training big teams, so I’m used to teaching in a range of situations.

Prices
•Standard Price: €22 per hour
•Group lessons – the above prices will be reduced by 30% per student for each extra student that joins. So for example, a group of 2 would be €30.80 per hour (€22x2-30%).

Where?
Lessons can take place most public places in the areas above, for example at a local café, a library, a hotel, your office or even a quiet park (best for more advance students). I can also come to your house.
