Hi! My name is Laura, I'm an experienced EFL teacher and trained phonetician based in London, who specialises in pronunciation and accent reduction lessons for students of all levels.

I am a newly qualified Speech and Language Therapist, with extensive training in linguistics and international phonetics (the study of sounds used in all languages of the world). I have been teaching English as a Foreign Language for 8 years, and now specialise in teaching pronunciation of British English to speakers with English as a foreign language. Using an evidence-based method I have helped many students achieve a more neutral native-sounding British accent. This builds their confidence in speaking situations and enables them to understand and be understood by others more clearly.

Lesson topics include:
- Vowel and consonant sounds
- Stress and intonation
- Rhythm and stress
- Strong and weak forms
- Linking words together / connected speech
- Silent letters and spelling rules

Your first lesson will include a comprehensive assessment of your strengths and needs, and your course will be designed and tailored to you.

Lessons by Skype Monday to Friday. €29 per hour, or €39 for 90 minutes. 10% discount after your first 10 classes. Safe payments via PayPal. Invoices available.
