How important is it to have a LinkedIn profile your country?  What is the difference between a LinkedIn profile and Facebook?  Do know how to pronounce "LinkedIn" in English? Is your LinkedIn profile in English? 

I honestly didn't think it was that important to have a LinkedIn profile until a few years ago. Also, at that time I only thought it was popular in the United States.  I soon realized that LinkedIn was definitely international. My name is Michelle and I am an English teacher from the United States with a Master degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and 7 years of experience of teaching accent reduction/ pronunciation and Business/Industry English.
