Native CELTA Qualified English Teacher

I am an experienced ELT teacher looking for private students in the Barcelona area. I am a linguist (trilingual) and a master in anthropology, fascinated by languages and cultural difference, and how the two inevitably interlink. 

I am a friendly and versatile teacher. I have experience teaching English in businesses (both in the pharmaceutical and engineering industry), as well as one-on-one tuition to children and young adults.

I always try and create lessons that cater to my students' interests and needs so as to keep them engaged and motivated. To encourage receptive learning, I will often provide students with interesting articles from 'the Guardian', or podcasts from 'BBC Radio 4' as listening exercises, encouraging them to express their opinions and personal thoughts, and getting them involved in debates and topics of contemporary relevance, both intellectual and non.
