ENGLISH TEACHER 26-27, URBAN SCHOOL, POBLENOU

We are looking for enthusiastic, organised English teachers with good language awareness to join our team at Urban from September 2026. Full and part-time roles available.

We pride ourselves on providing a supportive environment for both students and teachers. Our collaborative team shares ideas, develops materials together and supports new colleagues, creating a friendly and professional place to teach. 

We specialise in high-quality communicative teaching in small groups of children, teenagers and adults, offering a balance of general English and Cambridge exam preparation.

We value long-term relationships with both our students and our teachers, and many members of our team have been with us for several years.

What we offer:
•	A stable afternoon and evening timetable (Monday–Friday from 15.30) 
•	No off-site teaching
•	A varied timetable teaching children, teens and adults, including some Cambridge preparation groups
•	Support with lesson planning, mentoring and access to well-developed teaching materials. 
•	Competitive fixed monthly salary
•	Contract or autónomo position 

Essential requirements:
•	Native-level English proficiency
•	CELTA or equivalent TEFL qualification 
•	At least one year's teaching experience 
•	Good classroom management and organisational skills 
•	EU citizenship or the right to work in Spain 

Desirable:
•	Experience preparing students for Cambridge English exams 
•	Conversational Spanish or Catalan 

We're looking for someone who can commit until June 2027 and, ideally, is interested in becoming a long-term member of our team.
