Native English Tutor for Kids and Teens

Hi! I'm a TEFL-certified native Canadian English speaker with 9 years of education experience and a passion for inspiring confidence among young learners. I have been teaching kids and teens in Barcelona for the past year, and I'm now offering private tutoring that is tailored to the unique goals and learning styles of individual students. I use an English-immersive method so that students can learn through real communication while being supported in Spanish only when needed. 

Lessons with younger learners include:
- Interactive games and movement-based learning 
- Vocabulary through play, repetition, and lots of physical gestures 
- Plenty of positive reinforcement!  

Lessons with pre-teens and teenagers include: 
- Interesting topics that maximize speaking time 
- Short grammar explanations that are important for real-world English 
- Balanced corrections focused on natural communication
