Head Teacher creative school Barcelona

We are hiring a Head Teacher for our creative English language academy

We based in Barcelona and work mainly with children and teenagers, alongside exam preparation and some adult students.

We believe learning should be engaging and practical. Our classes combine language learning with creative workshops and hands-on experiences.

We are looking for a Head Teacher — someone who loves teaching, enjoys supporting others, and is ready to grow into an academic role with more responsibility.

You will continue teaching while gradually taking on greater responsibility helping the teachers and the academic side of the centre.

This role would suit an experienced teacher who:
Enjoys being in the classroom
Naturally supports and guides colleagues
Takes initiative and looks for ways to improve
Enjoys creating engaging materials, activities and projects
Is ready to step into a role with more responsibility with support and growth
TEFL / CELTA qualification essential.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching young learners, teenagers and adults
Modelling strong classroom practice
Supporting and mentoring teachers including help with classroom management
Helping organise teacher meetings
Contributing to lesson content and workshops
Supporting academic content for holiday camps and special programmes
Monitoring teaching quality and suggesting improvements

We’re Looking For
Minimum 4 years teaching experience
TEFL / CELTA certificate 
Experience teaching children (from 3 years) and teenagers
Strong classroom management
Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage a variety of tasks
Confidence communicating with teachers, parents, and management
Creative approach to learning
Interest in curriculum development and project-based learning
Desirable:
Mentoring or teacher training experience, curriculum development experience, holiday camp experience, DELTA qualification.
