Friday First certificate classes in Poblenou

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and professional English teacher with good language awareness to join our friendly teaching team.

Urban School is a small independent academy in Poblenou providing high quality language teaching with a focus on individual learner needs. We foster an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere for both learning and teaching.

The successful candidate will have experience of preparing students for the First certificate exam.

Details of the position: Fridays 15:30-17:30 and 17:45-19:45, mature and hard-working older teen and young adult B2 groups.

Qualifications & experience: Cambridge CELTA or similar TEFL qualification, 1 year teaching experience minimum, conversational Spanish/Catalan preferable, EU national or work permit required.

We are looking for a teacher who can commit to the whole academic year.

(We follow the academic calendar, typically with 2 weeks holiday at Christmas, 1 week at Easter plus public holidays)
