EXCHANGE ENGLISH FOR SPANISH/CATALAN

Hello, I am Matthew Hughes, 21 year old male from New York about to move to Barcelona for the 2011/12 year in the Medieval Cultures masters program. I would like to improve my Spanish and begin to learn Catalan since nearly all my classes are in that language. I will be attending Catalan courses beginning August 29 but wouldn't mind making some friends with whom I could exchange language, culture, and perhaps a few laughs. I am a very easy going and nice guy, open to make many new friends in one of the best cities in the world.
