EFL Teacher + Hosting

Daganzo’s own language academy in the heart of the town is looking for a new dynamic, enthusiastic teacher to join its teaching staff from September 2015 until June 2016.

Daganzo is perfectly located at 15 minutes from the airport, 25 minutes from the capital and only 15 minutes from Alcalá de Henares, which is not only an international heritage site, but also an international meeting point due to its International University. Alcalá is the birthplace of Cervantes and is renowned for its tapas and night-life!

The teaching contract is 16 (1 hour lesson) per week from 4-8pm. We offer a full range of teaching: children, teenagers and adults. General, exam focused and conversational English. We work with digital whiteboards in our teaching methodology and everything is programmed in advance, so you won’t need extra time to get your lessons ready.

Requirements

Candidates should have a keen interest in teaching English as well as a desire to learn/practice Spanish.
Experience teaching or with children/young adults is an advantage but not necessary.
EU-nationals or candidates with a valid work permit for the EU preferred.
Native English speaker preferred.
Compensation

Flight from teacher’s country to Spain is paid by the school if you come from abroad.
Starting salary is 500€ a month (net/ after taxes) with the possibility of more in our ever growing academy (paid vacations are included).
We offer the unique opportunity to integrate fully in the community by living with a family. This means you’ll receive full boarding completely free (hosting, food and housing expenses), while you have your own and independent apartment inside the family house!
The academy also pays for your health insurance and will help you to obtain an official working status in Spain if you come from abroad.
On top of this the academy offers you private Spanish lessons in the morning, 2 hours a week.
