Hello,

My name is Tony Hogan.

I am an English teacher with a background in graphic design, branding and marketing living in Madrid.

I have 7 years experience teaching English and specialise in helping individual students at board (CEO) or management level develop their knowledge of marketing, branding and integrated social media.

I have used interactive whiteboard technology and CMSs such as Moodle. I've knowledge of CEFR and use a mixture of online resources as well as hand drawn info-graphics for classes that I create in front of the student or group. Far more of a fan of experience based learning similar to Montessori than text book.

I have 10 years experience in the field of design (including design teaching) within marketing, branding and print reprographics. I'm also a practicing graphic designer with knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator and open source software including Inkscape, Scribus and infographic software. I have good knowledge of MS Office, OpenOffice, LibreOffice and Linux operating systems and various other technology.

I've lived in Spain since 2001 for a total of 9 years, working for Hernández-Echevarría Abogados, FCC Construction, Ferrovial Agroman (senior management), Sacyr Construction (board management) and for various CEOs of large corporations and the economic research department of the Bank of Spain.

In London prior to 2001, I worked in the financial district within recruitment marketing and the merchant banking sector where I was the head of design and digital. Other past clients include the Economist, Financial Times and WSJ in London and IBM marketing in New York.

I'm able to help schools with social media and marketing projects if there is any interest.

Yours sincerely,

Tony Hogan
