Professional Graphic Designer within Print Reprographics
Professional graphic designer with 5 years in English teaching

MA degree in print reprographics and multi-media
Royal College of Art, Imperial College, London

Hello and thanks for dropping by.

My name is Patrick Hogan.

I am a graphic designer with 12 years experience in the field of print reprographics and 5 years in English teaching.

As a practicing graphic designer I am able to undertake projects within marketing that include brochures, magazines, infographics, leaflets, posters, display both interior and exterior, all types of scalable graphics, illustrations, diagrams and maps. I can also create adverts, logos, typographics and brand IDs for your school or company.

I am experienced with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator and the open source range of software tools including Inkscape and Scribus. I have solid design teaching experience in this area at university level. I have extensive knowledge of both MS Office and OpenOffice and the Linux operating system.

At a strategic level I can plan talks on subjects from designing and creating a CV in English to what one should know about new technology in the work place. I have given talks and lectures on semantics in design and infographics, commerical print technology and open source software.

In Spain, I have worked for Hernández-Echevarría Abogados, FCC Construction, Ferrovial Agroman, Sacyr Construction and the economic research department of the Bank of Spain. In London's financial district I worked within recruitment and the merchant banking sector where I was the head of design and digital. Other past clients include the Economist, Financial Times and WSJ in London and IBM marketing in New York.

In addition to my MA degree, I've an upper class BA degree in print, graphics and multi-media from Manchester Metropolitan University.

If you'd like to expand into technology teaching with a client or just simply want to find out more about how I can help you develop your marketing or public interface please drop me an email at patrickhogandesign@outlook.es I am very approachable and understand the financial limitations of this sector. Having said that, the better you look on paper and the more dynamic your website is the more you will attract students above and beyond your close geographic competitors.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Patrick
