NOW PLAYING- Christmas in the Klondike
A seasonal extravaganza for all the family to enjoy, ‘Christmas in the Klondike’ is the latest musical adventure from Madrid’s Stepping on Stage theatre group with five performances this weekend!

It’s 1898 and gold fever has come and gone for this small Klondike town in the northern wilds of Alaska attracting prospectors from far and wide to seek their fortune.

But greed has taken its toll on the townsfolk leaving them desperate and vulnerable to the slippery schemes of a travelling snake oil salesman who threatens to strip those remaining of their last few coins as he peddles his wares of dubious miracle potions.

And what’s more he attempts to lure away Goldilocks and the Three Bears, who have set up home in the town, and steal them away with the promise of a last ditch chance at fame and fortune.

Written and directed by Erik Backlund, this production is an original English language musical comedy that will delight an audience of all ages with its lavish costumes and well-known songs.

With a strong cast of eight adults and eight children, this is the perfect family outing to kick start the holiday season.
