Any tiny home/ bus conversion/sustainable living projects?

Hi, I'm an English teacher.But one day I want to build my own home from a double-decker bus(!)So I need to learn the skills to do that.
I'd love to help out in the weekends if you are doing a similar project which involves building, installing solar panels, plumbing, gardening, irrigation etc.
