TEACH WITH MIDLETON SCHOOL

We are the biggest English academy in Getafe, just 20 minutes from Sol by train. We are currently looking for teachers for the upcoming academic year, 2014 – 2015.

THE JOB
The contract is for 23.5 hours per week, from September through to June and there are further opportunities to work in July. Classes are blocked in the afternoons/evenings, with an early finish on Friday, and take place in our academy. There is also the opportunity to add to these hours with mid-week and/or Saturday morning classes (willingness to take Saturday classes would be an advantage to candidates). Materials for all classes are provided

THE CANDIDATE
We are looking for teachers who will be able to commit to a full academic year. Experience and relevant qualifications would be an advantage. The desire to work with different ages and levels is essential.

THE STAFF
We have a mix of staff, both native English speakers and Spanish graduates in English. However, all of our teachers are both professional and friendly and work together to create the best possible environment for our students to learn and ourselves to work.
We work with all ages from 6 years old to adults and, while activities may change, our emphasis on communication in class doesn’t. Our aim is to give all our students, regardless of age, level or reasons for studying, the best possible opportunity to improve and become better communicators of English in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. 

HOW TO APPLY
