WORK WITH MIDLETON SCHOOL

We are the biggest English academy in Getafe, just 20 minutes from Atocha by train. We are currently looking for teachers to fill a number of different positions (details of which can be seen below).

We have a mix of staff, both native English speakers and Spanish graduates in English. However, all of our teachers are both professional and friendly and work together to create the best possible environment for our students to learn and ourselves to work.

We work with all ages from 6 years old to adults and, while activities may change, our emphasis on communication in class doesn’t. Our aim is to give all our students, regardless of age, level or reasons for studying, the best possible opportunity to improve and become better communicators of English in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. 

POSITION 1 (start date; 29TH June):

We are looking for native teachers for a summer camp working with children from 6 to 12 years old. The camp is in Ávila, only one hour from Madrid, and will run from Sunday 29th June to Sunday 13th July. 

Responsibilities will include teaching and assisting with activities, which will be run using English. Experience with children is essential and experience of working in a summer camp environment would be an advantage.

POSITION 2 (New Academic Year – September 2014):

From Easter we will be beginning to interview teachers for the upcoming academic year. A full contract would include classes with children, teenagers and adults; 23+ blocked hours, Mon – Fri (with an early finish on Fridays), as well as the possibility of morning intensive classes with adults. All classes will be given from the academy and material will be provided, along with ongoing training and support. Training (e.g. CELTA or equivalent) and experience would be an advantage.
