EFL Teacher in Madrid

We are interviewing for full-time or part-time positions for the next academic year 2024 - 2025 with the possibility to start this Spring term onwards. We help convert student visas to work visas if needed.

About us:
American Language Academy is one of the most prestigious English language centers in Spain, located in central Madrid.

We are a well-established provider of English learning solutions for adults and professionals, with over 50 years of experience. 

About the classes:
The majority of our students are adult professionals. Class sizes are small and materials are provided. 

Most of our classes are HyFlex® (online through Zoom and face-to-face students in the same class.) 

Level of Qualifications required:
•	TEFL/TESOL/CELTA 
•	1-year teaching experience (new teacher positions will be equally considered for entry positions)
•	Bachelor's Degree 
•	Teachers should be comfortable using technology
•	EU citizens or with working visa

Salary and benefits:
Starting at 1200€ month (net) + 200€ monthly incentives (Full-time)
Average full-time 26.5 teaching hours/week
Support and ongoing teacher development plan
Support for VISA processing (student to work visa)
Free Spanish classes for teachers
