UCETAM: Secondary Fun English Language Assistant
UCETAM is looking for fun Native English Language Assistant with experience teaching English to Secondary Students (1°ESO-2°BACH). The English Language Assistant should be comfortable teaching 13-year-olds up till 18-year-olds in a classroom environment. Typically, class size is between 25 to 28 students. The position will start A.S.A.P. The English Language Assistant should be passionate about teaching/feel comfortable leading and planning 25 hours of classes per week. The ELA should be able to help design rewarding English classes (debates, games, Culture Clases, Cambridge exam prep, conversational classes, long-term/short-term projects). Most importantly the English Language Assistant knows how to connect/relate positively with teenagers.

The scholarship position is 26-hrs (25-hours in the classroom and 1-hour for planning per week). The permanent class schedule will be discussed during the initial phone interview. This position includes a monthly scholarship stipend of 1,300€ net, free public healthcare and free lunches. 

Requirements:

(1) Be a NATIVE English Speaker and HAVE a Degree from University/College

(2) IMPORTANT MUST HAVE EITHER (1) a European passport with a Spanish N.I.E./T.I.E. or (2) Non-Europeans must have the actual Spanish T.I.E./N.I.E. card that will not expire until after the 14th of June 2019 or T.I.E./N.I.E. through the Program of Auxiliares de Conversación de Comunidad de Madrid/the Ministry of Educación en España that has not been renewed or have the actual document (Resguardo) stating you will receive your TIE/NIE card within 45 days. 

(3) Proof of no criminal record by obtaining a Certificado de Delitos de Naturaleza Sexual. Also proof of no criminal record from your native country.
