Part/Full.time teacher needed for central academy 2018/19
We are recruiting a part/full-time teacher for the academic year 2018-19 to begin mid-September.

We are a centrally based academy entering our fourth year. During this time, we’ve built up a student base of over 300 students, and we currently have a team of seven teachers. Our teacher retention rate is very high due to a friendly and relaxed atmosphere whilst demanding the best from our teachers.

Our students vary, beginning with three-year olds and going through to adults. We have a mix of general and exam English, with about 50% of adults studying for the exams. Teenagers (11 years onwards) also follow the Cambridge syllabus, going from KET to CAE. Due to this, it’s vitally important that the successful applicant has experience of teaching these exams and is comfortable doing so.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience of teaching all levels and ages (preferably from 3 years old). Experience in Cambridge exams (KET through to CPE) is also vital, as many of our adults and all teenagers follow the Cambridge syllabus.

We are looking for a teacher to initially have around 17 contact hours per week, potentially rising to full-time (22 hours) as and when demand increases from October. Salary will be discussed at interview but is generous for Madrid.

Regarding the timetable, we need somebody who is available to work afternoons (4pm-10pm) in block hours, with availability for one or two morning classes per week. Friday classes are also possible, although there is less demand than Monday-Thursday.

Interested candidates should send a covering letter and an up-to-date CV to info@newcentralpark.com Due to the volume of applications, only successful applicants will be contacted.
