UCETAM: Fun, Experienced English Language Assistant
UCETAM is looking for a creative, experienced Native English Language Assistant with experience teaching English to Infantil ages all the way through Bachillerato age in a classroom environment. Please note, that the majority of the classes will be in Primary (1-6th grade). Typically, class size is between 25-28 students per class. The position will start this Friday the 18th of May 2018. The English Language Assistant should be passionate about teaching and feel comfortable leading and planning 25 hours of classes per week. UCETAM is looking for an individual to be able to design rewarding English classes for debates, games/songs, phonics, conversational classes, arts and projects. Most importantly the English Language Assistant should feel comfortable teaching and be able to connect positively with children.

The position includes a monthly scholarship stipend of 1,300€, free public healthcare and free lunches Monday through Friday. The scholarship position is 26-hours. The class schedule is the following: Mondays (8:55-16:00), Tuesdays (8:55-16:00), Wednesdays (8:55-17:00), Thursdays (8:55-16:00) and Fridays (8:55-17:00). The school is in San Martín de la Vega, Madrid and the school is located a 30-minute bus (412) ride from Villaverde Bajo Cruce (3 línea). Typically, you would take a 412 bus at 8:15AM from Villaverde Bajo Cruce metro station and it drops you directly off at the school. 

Requirements:

The requirements for this position is that you must:

(1) be a NATIVE English Speaker

(2) IMPORTANT: have a European passport with a Spanish N.I.E. or Non-Europeans must have the actual Spanish T.I.E./N.I.E. card and the card does not expire until after June 15, 2018.

(3) proof of no criminal record by obtaining a Certificado de Penales and Certificado de Delitos de Naturaleza Sexual in Spain. Also proof of no criminal record from your native country.

(4) Degree from University
