CHILDREN'S ENGLISH TEACHER - MADRID

Kidz in Action is seeking a native English teacher to join us for the new school year in mid-September 2017 using our Reflex Teaching Method working with young children aged three to twelve.

There is also the possibility of additional hours (up to 8 hours) of company classes offsite per week.

Using an innovative and highly effective approach, the Reflex Teaching Method makes it possible to efficiently train one's language reflexes in order to jumpstart the language learning process so that the children can immediately begin ‘using’ the language in real, natural, meaningful communication with you. You should be dedicated, reliable and passionate about teaching but most of all, have the ability to come down to the level of the children and create a genuine rapport with them. Singing, dancing, games and theatre are all a central part of our classes and comprehensive training will be provided.

From Mon – Thu the children’s classes are 16:45-20:30 and the possibility of company classes which are offsite from 12:00-14:30

On Fridays there are no company classes with only a few children’s classes from 16:30-18:00.

Thus, there are approximately 14 teaching hours per week with kids with the chance to add another 8 hours in offsite company classes

The academy is located in Majadahonda on the outskirts of Madrid - a 25 minute bus ride from Moncloa.

The position is part-time and runs from mid-September until the end of June with a salary of €800 per month + 100€ for each company class (two classes per week). There is also the option to join us for our workshops during the month of July. The contract is for a minimum of nine months but ideally for the long term giving the children continuity and the chance for you to build strong relationships with them.
