Subtitling Translator Expert

Currently we are recruiting experienced and qualified multilingual subtitling translators expert to work in our office in the center of Madrid, Spain. Responsibilities:

Translating, editing and proofreading material for small to large size translation and audiovisual projects
Origination, Simulation, Spotting and Transcription
Perform subtitling quality assurance tasks
Complete assigned tasks to high quality
Be able to work autonomously and as part of a team under constant time pressure, with the possibility of career progress.
Administration support to project manager and team members
Adhere to documented quality standards, style guides and client-specific instructions

Requirements:

Possess at least 1-2 years solid experience in subtitling
Knowledge of file formats for subtitling
Knowledge of industry specifications for SDH, CC, etc.
Subtitling software
Excellent prioritization skills and attention to detail is a must
Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritize work
University level qualification
Eligible to work in Spain

Desired skills:

Degree in translation
Degree in Subtitling
Previous worked with EZTITLES is a plus
Fluent in other languages
Familiarity with translation tools

Location: Madrid, España.

Start date: Immediate

Full-time, from 09.30 to 18.30 Monday to Friday
