Early Years Teacher

After high demand from parents the International School of Madrid has decided to open a Pre-School specialising in providing care and education to children aged between 1-3 years old. The Pre-School will open in the academic year of 2016/2017 and will be housed in new purpose built premises next door the the existing Primary School. Though the school is located in Spain, the curriculum will be completely British and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage.
The Job Opportunity
This opportunity for a passionate and energetic individual to join us at the start of an amazing journey.
As the dedicated and experienced childcare professional, you will work closely with the Pre-School coordinator to help shape and put your personal stamp on this brand new state of the art Pre-School before its opening in September 2016.
This role will focus on working with children aged between 1-2 years old.
You will have:

Strong communication skills.
In depth knowledge of EYFS and understanding of different educational approaches such as Montessori methodology.
A warm and positive approach & creative ideas.
A commitment to providing high quality childcare.
Ideally experienced working in both the UK and Spain
Working hoursYou will be working full time, Monday to Friday.
Experience, qualifications and training required

Experience of working in an Early Years.
Experience of working with children aged between 1 & 2 Years old
NNEB Diploma, CACHE Level 3, Early Years Practitioner status NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
NVQ Level 4, relevant degree or PGCE (desirable)
Fluent English and an advantage to be able to communicate in Spanish
Eligible to work in Spain (EU Passport)
