CHILDREN'S ENGLISH TEACHER - MADRID
Kidz in Action is seeking a native English teacher to join us for the new school year in mid-September 2016 in using our Reflex Teaching Method working with young children aged three to twelve, as well as 8 hours of company classes per week.

Using an innovative and highly effective approach, the Reflex Teaching Method makes it possible to efficiently train one's language reflexes in order to jumpstart the language learning process so that the students can immediately begin ‘using’ the language in real, natural, meaningful communication with you. You can see more on our method at http://www.kidzinaction.es/en

You should be dedicated, reliable and passionate about teaching but most of all, have the ability to come down to the level of the children and create a genuine rapport with them. Singing, dancing, games and theatre are all a central part of our classes and comprehensive training in our method, teaching skills and behaviour management will be provided.

From Monday – Thursday, the company classes are offsite from 13:00-15:00 with the children’s classes 16:45-20:05 (20:30 once or twice a week).

On Fridays there are no company classes with only a few children’s classes from 16:30-17:45.

Thus, there are approximately 23 teaching hours per week.

The majority of the lesson plans and materials are already developed for you so that you can concentrate on giving each student a rich learning experience. The academy is located in Majadahonda on the outskirts of Madrid - a 25 minute bus ride from Moncloa.

The position is part-time with 23 hours per week including paid vacation and runs from the middle of September until the end of June with a Net salary of €1200 per month. There is also the option to join us for our Cooking, Arts & Robotics workshops during the month of July. The contract is for a minimum of nine months but ideally for the long term giving the children continuity and the chance for you to build strong relationships with them.

Our position offers the unique career opportunity to be part of cutting edge development in EFL teaching methods, and the chance to implement powerful ideas to accelerate language acquisition for young learners. If this teaching opportunity excites you, please reply to us describing your interest in this position and attach your C.V. and a photo of yourself. Please only apply if you are a native English Speaker and are in Madrid as a personal interview is required.

Thank you for your interest.
