Hiking Saturday up La Peñota

We're a group of mixed English and Spanish speaking friends who hike every Saturday in the Sierras North of Madrid.

This week we will be hiking up La Peñota from the town of Cercedilla. This is a medium level hike of about 15kms. There is no charge for the hike but we share the petrol costs of getting there. You need to bring your own lunch and of course clothing and shoes suitable for hiking in the mountains.
