Contracted academy classes for 2015-16 academic year
THE ROLE:

We are looking for a teacher to take a full schedule, from 16:15 to 21:30 Monday to Thursday and 16:00 to 19:30 on Friday (23.5 teaching hours per-week). There is also the possibility of other hours outside this schedule, which could include one to ones, intensive groups and/or Saturday morning classes, depending on availability.

Classes will be with a number of different levels, including children, teenagers and adults. The start date for teachers will be the 9th September, with classes beginning on the 15th.

All classes will be given from the academy and material will be provided. Training (e.g. CELTA or equivalent) and experience would be an advantage. Native speakers (or native level) preferred.

If you are interested in this position, please send your CV and a short cover email, telling us why you think you would be suitable, and letting us know if you would be available for a morning or an afternoon interview, to recruitment@midletonschool.com.

We will be contacting suitable candidates over the coming days to arrange interviews for next week, beginning 31st Aug. Unfortunately, we will only be able to contact applicants who will be invited for an interview.

THE SCHOOL:

We are the biggest English academy in the south of Madrid (Getafe), just 20 minutes from Atocha by train. We have a mix of staff, both native English speakers and Spanish graduates in English. However, all of our teachers are both professional and friendly and work together to create the best possible environment for our students to learn and ourselves to work.

We work with all ages from 6 years old to adults and, while activities may change, our emphasis on communication in class doesn’t. Our aim is to give all our students, regardless of age, level or reasons for studying, the best possible opportunity to improve and become better communicators of English in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
