SKYPE CLASSES.  I am a native English Teacher. I prepare PET/FCE/CAE/CPE/TOEFL/TOEIC.  My classes are for BUSINESS/CONVERSATION/INTERVIEWS.  I have worked in this field for 16 years.  This is my vocation.  A breakdown of my classes: The first third of the class we look at what the client has done (homework, structures learnt) pertaining to the last class and make sure he/she has “consolidadated” the information. We then spend the remaining two thirds learning new vocabulary, grammar, set phrases, with an emphasis always on speaking, listening and analyzing the exam papers (should that be the case).

Action Plan - What we do in the first class: We look at a sample copy of the exam you are going to sit for/or the paperwork you deal with in your day-to-day job. We analyze it. We underline all the words and find their derivatives. By doing this we know what to expect in the very first class and how much work is required. From the very first day our incrementation of vocabulary becomes a work-in-progress and we combine it with other materials in the class along with other tasks that are programmed in throughout the course. Always prepared – I send “hojas de conversación” every week. I advise my clients to read the articles and debate questions in order to discuss them in class.
