MATERIALS WRITER

Net Languages is a dynamic online language school that produces, sells and tutors online interactive courses as well as collaborating on projects for different publishers. We are looking for a materials writer to work 20 hours a week in the Net Languages office in Barcelona. The successful applicant will work in the English writing department and will be responsible to the head of EFL materials development. The job involves working on the planning and writing of printed and interactive course materials in collaboration with the writing and production teams. Job Profile DELTA qualification or equivalent Experienced native English teacher (children and adults) Experience in materials writing in different contexts Awareness of existing material and current trends Sensitivity to inherent differences between print and interactive material Computer literate - especially Word, Excel, Internet and email programs Ability to work in a team A creative approach to writing An organised approach to work Conditions Contract of 20 hours per week Flexible timetable Salary of around € 900 - 1,000 (gross) per month
