LOOKING FOR A FULL TIME POSITION ON OUR NEWLY LAUNCHING SPANISH NEWS DESK?

A new journalism initiative looking for a return to traditional media values of independence is looking for qualified English language reporters / sub editors based in Spain.

We are looking to hire full-time paid professionals in Spain to become part of our global team who will be working on verifying news already existing in the global media landscape, but also originating news stories from Spain and particularly Madrid where we have a start-up newspaper project, and also working together within our international network to expand the project.

Journalism/Writing experience is necessary as is excellent English - and knowledge of other languages is an advantage but not essential. One of the posts we offer will involve a knowledge of sport, especially football, and another post will need excellent Spanish as a second language.

Starting salaries will be between €1000 and €1200 euros depending on age and experience and will initially involve working from home in our online newsroom.
