Details of Position:
Berlitz/Open is seeking native English teachers to take part in a program with an important educational organization in Spain, teaching weekly immersion courses to Spanish university students in various locations throughout the country. The program runs from May to the end of December and we have positions available for both shorter term (summer) and longer term (until October or December) employment.
A week long training course is mandatory prior to the start date. Training dates will be confirmed once an applicant has been offered and has accepted a position.

'Group Teachers - Full-Time'
Will work from Monday to Friday giving three group classes 9:00 - 11:30, 11:45-14:15, 15:30-18:00 (in the case of specialization courses there will be an extra 45 minutes per day)
Will do either one evening activity + dinner or one evening activity (with no dinner) per week.
Will have breakfast (8:30 to 9:00) and Lunch (on a rotation basis) (14:15 to 15:30) with the students (both are considered part of the daily work schedule)
(The cost of any meals had with the students will be paid for by the company)

Teachers must be:
-Native level English speakers; preferably with a CELTA or other teaching qualifications
-Comfortable working with groups and individuals.
-Either European citizens or already have obtained full working papers (not student visa).
-Be available for an interview, either face to face or over Skype.

Qualifications

Group Teacher salary 1800 OR 1650 euros per month gross in function of whether the teacher is required to attend dinner or not.
(normal deductions for this type of contract are approx 9%) .
Teachers build up one week of paid vacations for every nine weeks worked (which are either taken during the working period or paid upon finalization of the contract) .
