English teacher interested in art - Mornings (AUTONOMO only)
We are looking for a freelance English teacher to conduct occasional art-related speaking activities in the mornings with large groups of children (up to 25 kids, ages 5-14), starting in early 2017 and up until May.

You don’t need to be an artist yourself, but you must be interested in art - this is not a typical classroom course! If you don’t like art, you’re not into working with children or you’re just looking for a regular teaching position, this job is not for you.

We need somebody who is 100% reliable and can cover at least 10 sessions ON SPECIFIC DATES from late January to May, within the following timetable:

TUESDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS: 11 - 12 am
THURSDAYS AND FRIDAYS: 10 - 11 am, ideally with some flexibility (you might have the occasional session from 11 to 12 am)

You will be assigned a list of dates with plenty of notice, which will allow you to plan around them. We need you to cover all 10 sessions, so you MUST have another job with flexible hours or a 100% compatible schedule – you should consider this as an extra.

All sessions last about an hour, require relatively little preparation and take place in central Barcelona. You will be paid 30EURO/activity (before tax).

Please apply ONLY if you meet ALL of the following requirements:
•	You’re native/totally bilingual
•	You already live in Barcelona
•	You’re autónomo/a: you will be required to produce invoices for your work (no exceptions). Please mention your autónomo status in your application.
•	You’re already working and you would like occasional extra hours in the mornings
•	You’re flexible about when you work within the timetable outlined above
•	You commit to working with us at least until May 2016. Ideally, we would like to find somebody who will also be available to work with us the next school year.
• You have an ESL certificate (CELTA/TESOL/TEFL) or other relevant qualification
• You have experience working with groups of children and teens and you love it
• You’re interested in 20th century art. It’s not about knowledge, it’s about attitude – you need to have an open mind and be enthusiastic, curious and willing to learn more.

Please send us your CV AND A COVER LETTER giving details of your timetable/commitments for the next few months and why you’re excited about this position. APPLICATIONS WITHOUT A COVER LETTER WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Interviews will take place in December/early January. The successful candidate will receive paid training. Thank you!
